The five elements relate in cycles. Some feed each other — Water grows Wood, Wood fuels Fire. Some keep each other in check — Metal cuts Wood, Water cools Fire. Reading two charts together is really reading how two element mixes meet.
What it actually tells you
Compatibility points at rhythm and friction — where two people flow easily and where they rub. That's useful for understanding a dynamic, whether it's a partner, a friend, or a sibling.
It's not destiny
"Incompatible" elements don't doom anything, and "compatible" ones don't guarantee anything. It's a lens on how you two tend to move — not a verdict.
