What a day master is
Of the eight characters in a saju chart, one stands above the rest: the stem of your birth day. That's your day master — the element that represents your core self. Everything else in the chart is read in relation to it.
Ten day masters, five elements
Each element comes in a yang (outward) and a yin (inward) form, which makes ten day masters in all — for example, a yang Metal reads differently from a yin Metal, even though both are "Metal." That's why two Metal people aren't the same.
How to find yours
